Job Title: Smart Contracts Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Smart Contracts Engineer to join our team at Blockchain Works. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying smart contracts and decentralized applications on the Berachain blockchain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement smart contracts using Solidity, ensuring security, efficiency, and accuracy of the code.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create robust and secure solutions that shape the future of decentralized applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Solidity, Ethereum, and blockchain technologies, providing insights and recommendations on integrating new features and improvements.
  • Implement thorough testing methodologies to identify and address vulnerabilities and bugs in smart contracts and applications.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, well-documented code, adhering to best practices and industry standards.
  • Work closely with the team to address technical challenges and ensure proper configuration and maintenance of deployed smart contracts.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience in designing and developing smart contracts using Solidity, with a strong understanding of common ERC standards and design patterns.
  • Familiarity with blockchain fundamentals and concepts, including transactions, consensus mechanisms, and decentralized networks.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as JavaScript, Go, or Rust, with experience in version control systems and agile development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of common vulnerabilities and security best practices in blockchain and smart contract development.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, with strong communication skills for conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, with relevant certifications in blockchain development a plus.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in software development with a focus on Solidity and blockchain technology.
