Your Role: Shaping the Future of Autonomous Driving

As our Senior Data Engineer (Reasoning ML), you will play a pivotal role in building the foundation for our advanced autonomous driving systems. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying state-of-the-art data pipelines that power our machine learning models.

  • Data Pipeline Architect: Lead the development and implementation of robust data pipelines to collect, process, and curate high-quality datasets for training and evaluating our ML planner components.
  • Model Validation Expert: Design and implement comprehensive metrics for model validation and continuous monitoring in production environments, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our autonomous driving algorithms.
  • Synthetic Data Specialist: Leverage Oxa's Metadriver platform to generate synthetic data, enhancing the training process and enabling the development of robust and adaptable driving policies.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Engineer: Build and maintain cloud-based tooling and infrastructure to support experimentation, evaluation, and deployment workflows for our autonomous driving systems.
  • Team Leader & Mentor: Collaborate effectively with team members and colleagues across the organization, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing. Guide and mentor junior engineers, contributing to their professional growth.

Requirements: Your Expertise in Autonomous Driving Technology

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience developing behavioral machine learning technologies for autonomous vehicles or robotics.
  • Proven expertise in production ML pipelines: data creation and curation, training frameworks, evaluation pipelines.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and experience with data analysis libraries and packages.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver projects as part of a team.
  • Excellent technical communication and leadership skills.
  • A deep understanding of the ethical considerations surrounding AI development and deployment in autonomous systems.
