Accounting Clerk – Contract Specialist

IDEX Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Clerk to join our team in a contract position.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing general accounting duties related to the full payable cycle, including matching, coding, inputting, and filing A/P invoices, processing cheque runs, generating payments, and resolving issues with vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and reconcile cash receipts versus invoice amounts
- Update and maintain customer master files
- Generate accounts receivable related reports and update spreadsheets
- Perform a variety of accounting month-end activities
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Related post-secondary diploma in Accounting/Business
- A minimum of two (2) years accounting experience
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated customer service orientation
- Working knowledge of JDE a definite asset
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving skills
