Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular risk evaluations to identify potential threats to the financial and operational stability of the organization.
  • Examine data to uncover patterns and trends that may indicate future risks.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders, including internal teams and external clients, to devise and execute risk mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare risk management and post-event analysis reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, advancements in the fintech sector, and regulatory changes that may affect the company's risk profile.
  • Assist in the formulation and implementation of risk management policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the creation of risk models for new products and services.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • 1-3 years of experience in risk management, ideally within the fintech or banking sectors.
  • Strong analytical skills with the capability to gather, organize, analyze, and disseminate substantial amounts of information with precision and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of financial principles and risk management methodologies.
  • Familiarity with fintech industry regulations and standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and other relevant tools.
  • Proficient in risk assessment and predictive analytics software.
  • Adaptable and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, ever-changing startup environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with fraud detection tools such as CRM, transaction monitoring, and device intelligence.
  • Previous involvement in a startup during its early stages and experience in fast-paced settings.
