Job Summary

Carecorp at Willingdon Care Centre Limited Partnership is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Health Care Assistant to join our team. As a Health Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Medication Management: Administer medications as directed by the nursing staff.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and common areas.
  • Companionship: Engage with residents through conversation, activities, and social events.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required.
  • Training: No experience necessary, training provided.
  • Work Setting: Nursing home/home for the aged.
Work Conditions
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Physical Demands: Stand for extended periods and handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
