Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Global Fusion Bistro LTD. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit reports on food service operations
    • Establish work schedules and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Team Management
    • Supervise a team of 3-4 staff members
    • Provide guidance and support to staff to ensure excellent customer service
  • Security and Safety
    • Ensure a safe and secure work environment for staff and customers
    • Maintain basic security clearance
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling
    • Work under pressure to meet deadlines and ensure efficient food service operations
  • Requirements
    • Experience in food service management an asset
    • Permanent employment opportunity
    • 30-40 hours per week
    • English language proficiency
