Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 1449552 ALBERTA LTD. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food is prepared and served to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, serving, and cleaning.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and maintain inventory levels.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Hire and manage food service staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Food Safety Certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
