Assistant Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Down East Hospitality Incorporated. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement
- Monitor revenues and labour costs to optimize performance
- Supervise staff and provide guidance on tasks and responsibilities
- Plan and organize daily operations to meet business objectives
- Set staff work schedules and ensure adequate coverage
- Train staff on new procedures and policies
- Organize and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed at all times
- Lead and instruct individuals to achieve business goals
- Address customer complaints and provide excellent customer service
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Valid driver's licence and own transportation
- First Aid Certificate and Food Safety Certificate
- Electronic cash register skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Attention to detail and ability to stand for extended periods
