Nursing Faculty Instructor

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Nursing Faculty Instructor to join our team at Assiniboine Community College. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and training to our students in the Practical Nursing program.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching and Instruction: Instruct students in a classroom, laboratory, or shop situation, and provide academic assistance during consultation hours.
- Course Development: Identify, prepare, and organize course materials and learning resources for course delivery.
- Program Promotion: Assist with college promotion, student recruitment, student placement, industry liaison, and various administrative functions.
- Student Evaluation: Evaluate student performance and provide feedback to students.
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and review of curriculum and program materials.
- Education: Relevant post-secondary nursing education and significant industry experience in acute care.
- Credentials: Appropriate nursing credential and other relevant post-secondary education.
- Registration: Registered and in good standing with CRNM, CRPNM, or CLPNM.
- Experience: Significant experience in teaching (theory, lab, and clinical) and industry experience in acute care.
- Skills: Well-developed technical skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, and highly developed communication skills, strong organizational skills, and ability to work effectively as part of the Practical Nursing team.
