The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our HR team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping our strategic talent acquisition function. You will lead the talent acquisition function for eHealth Saskatchewan and partner with HR and business leaders to develop and implement best-in-class strategies in talent acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement recruiting programs and strategic initiatives to attract top talent in Saskatchewan.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of talented TA specialists.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with cross-functional internal teams and external customers, employment contacts, and health partners.
  • Communicate complex ideas and concepts in an effective way through active listening, clear and concise writing, and public speaking.
  • Develop and implement recruiting strategies in partnership with the Director, Organizational Development and the HR Business Partner team.
  • Work with the TA team and HR Business Partners to establish seasonal forecasting hiring targets, build go-to-market strategies, and create talent pools.
  • Leverage technology and tools to optimize talent attraction strategies and the eHealth employment brand.
  • Research new products and technologies, conduct ongoing analyses of current systems, and implement improvements in recruiting operations as appropriate.
  • Coach, mentor, develop, and lead the Talent Acquisition team to develop talent attraction as a strategic function for eHealth Saskatchewan.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Talent Acquisition leadership experience.
  • Extensive Talent Acquisition strategy experience, including significant change management.
  • Knowledge of applicable provincial legislation and regulations related to employment.
  • Advanced proficiency of full-cycle recruiting with strong decision-making skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize work according to organizational goals.
  • Flexible in managing constantly changing priorities and dealing comfortably with ambiguity.
  • Ability to monitor multiple projects simultaneously, establish and meet deadlines, pay attention to details, and execute projects to desired outcomes.
  • Experience in vendor management.
  • Adept interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, Teams, Forms, etc.
