Job Description

Job Title: Senior Land Surveyor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Land Surveyor to join our team at Ontario Transit Group. As a Senior Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for leading our land surveying team and ensuring that all surveying activities are conducted in accordance with our company's standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of land surveyors and survey assistants
  • Conduct site surveys and prepare survey reports
  • Develop and implement surveying plans and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth project execution

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in land surveying
  • Experience in management and leading survey teams is an asset
  • Deep understanding of civil works construction and methods
  • Highly skilled in personal communication and relationships with other departments
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office environment
  • Knowledge of Design software such as Civil 3D
  • Knowledge of Point Cloud software
  • Be highly skilled in using varied survey equipment such as Laser Scans, Total Stations, GNSS receivers, and Digital Levels
  • Professional designation such as Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) is preferred
