Job Title: Planner

About the Role:

FLINT Corp. is seeking a skilled Planner to join our team at our Port Moody office. As a Planner, you will be responsible for planning and creating project and production schedules for the maintenance project. You will work closely with various levels of supervision to ensure that maintenance activities are meticulously planned and executed safely and thoroughly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
  • Collaborate with site managers and project teams to lead an effective project schedule.
  • Review RFQ and project documentation to determine optimal execution sequencing.
  • Generate and maintain project reports, including progress reports and earned value analysis.
  • Provide project cost estimates and cost analysis.
  • Identify and record the impact of work performed and not performed as scheduled.
  • Oversee the progress and productivity of all project aspects.

Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of project planning and scheduling.
  • Experience in industrial energy sector execution methods and sequencing.
  • Familiarity with fabrication and construction practices.
  • High-level proficiency in Primavera and MS Project software.
  • Ability to interpret, evaluate, and apply regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Post-secondary degree in a related technical field or combination of training and experience deemed appropriate for the role.
  • Minimum 5 years planning experience in a related industrial role.
