Millwright - Facilities

About the Role:

F&P Mfg., Inc. is seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team in our automotive parts manufacturing facility. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for performing highly diversified duties to repair and maintain building and production mechanical systems, diagnosing problems, replacing or repairing parts, detecting and replacing defective parts, testing and making adjustments to automated production equipment, and performing regular preventive maintenance on plant facilities and production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform highly diversified duties to repair and maintain building and production mechanical systems
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, detect and replace defective parts, test and make adjustments to automated production equipment
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on plant facilities and production equipment
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools
  • Other duties as assigned to ensure up-time of automated production equipment, etc

Requirements:

  • Industrial Mechanic Millwright (433A) and/or Construction Millwright (426A) Certificate of Qualification
  • Experience in trouble shooting and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, HVAC systems, etc
  • Able to read and understand operation standards, blue prints, maintenance and equipment manuals

Work Environment:

  • Plant environment
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Regularly exposed to dust, odors, noise, smoke, etc.
  • Regularly required to be exposed to outside weather/elements
  • Regularly required to work at heights and in confined spaces
