About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Ash Grove Inn. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping staff and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Lead and motivate a team of housekeeping staff to ensure excellent service delivery
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews
  • Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that all housekeeping staff adhere to our high standards of cleanliness and safety
    • Conduct regular inspections to ensure that our rooms and public areas meet our quality standards
  • Inventory and Scheduling
    • Manage the inventory of housekeeping supplies, equipment, and uniforms
    • Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Guest Services
    • Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
    • Ensure that all guest requests are met in a timely and efficient manner
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a housekeeping or hospitality role
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
