Qualifications- Education: Completion of a relevant trades certificate or diploma.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
- Located in an urban setting.
- Operates within a hotel, motel, or resort atmosphere.
- Welcome guests upon arrival and assign appropriate accommodations.
- Manage group bookings and facilitate check-ins and check-outs.
- Handle room reservations, including modifications and cancellations.
- Provide detailed information regarding hotel amenities and services.
- Offer insights about local attractions and points of interest.
- Process guest departures, ensuring accurate billing and payment collection.
- Maintain accurate records of room availability and assignments.
- Adhere to safety and emergency protocols.
- Perform clerical tasks such as faxing, filing, and photocopying.
- Answer incoming calls and relay messages efficiently.
- Contact guests for wake-up calls as requested.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Proficient in operating a multi-line switchboard.
- Familiarity with database management software.
- Experience with central reservation systems (CRS).
- Competent in using the internet for various tasks.
- Must undergo a criminal record check.
- Personal transportation is necessary.
- Attention to detail is crucial.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Strong client focus and dependability.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
