We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team at Marble Inn Resort, Steadybrook. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and desserts. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential in ensuring the high quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards by inspecting kitchen and food service areas.
  • Operate machinery and maintain inventory to ensure efficient production.
  • Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods to maximize revenue.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work setting: Hotel, motel, resort, or coffee shop environment.
  • Physical capabilities: Standing for extended periods, attention to detail, and repetitive tasks.
  • Personal suitability: Client focus, dependability, excellent oral communication, judgement, reliability, and patience.
