Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Labourer to join our team at Mauser Packaging Solutions. As a Production Labourer, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe production of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet production standards on specific assignments within required timeframes, demonstrating a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety specifications and guidelines.
  • Perform all assignments in accordance with safety specifications, instructions, and requirements, prioritizing the well-being of yourself and your colleagues.
  • Take ownership of safety and quality throughout the production process, identifying and reporting any issues or concerns to your supervisor.
  • Notify your supervisor or lead when stepping off the production line to ensure continuity and maintain safety and quality standards.
  • Report all production waste or issues to your supervisor or lead, providing detailed information and recommendations for improvement.
  • Perform other duties as required by your supervisor or manager, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in mathematics and problem-solving.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of meeting production targets and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
  • Understanding of plant safety guidelines and a commitment to completing all required safety training.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely and effective manner.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals and objectives.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for up to 8-12 hours per shift, with regular breaks to rest and recharge.
  • Use of hands and fingers to perform job functions, with a focus on manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, and climb, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 35lbs, with a focus on maintaining a safe and efficient lifting technique.
