Upholstery Labourer

We are seeking a skilled Labourer to join our team at West End Upholstery. As a Labourer, you will be responsible for transporting raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant manually. You will also sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products, assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers, and perform other labouring and elemental activities.
Work EnvironmentOur Labourer will work in a dusty, noisy, and dirty environment. You will be required to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work under pressure. You will also be required to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
Responsibilities- Transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant manually
- Sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products
- Assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers
- Perform other labouring and elemental activities
- Clean machines and immediate work areas
- Valid driver's licence
- Ability to work in a dusty, noisy, and dirty environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to handle heavy loads
- Ability to work under pressure
Our Labourer will work in a physically demanding environment. You will be required to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and will be exposed to odours, dust, and noise.
