About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at Sleep Country Canada/Dormez-vous?. As a key member of our Operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct customer product order picks and load delivery trucks in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Complete inventory counts with Supervisor to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Inspect inventory for defects or damages and document, as required, to maintain a high level of quality control.
  • Use RF (Radio Frequency) Scanner to scan products and items into WMS system, ensuring accurate tracking and inventory management.
  • Complete customer pick-up orders, as required, and provide exceptional customer service to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Adhere to all health and safety procedures and regulations, and maintain a clean working environment to ensure a safe and healthy workplace.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment, as required, to efficiently move products and materials throughout the warehouse.
  • Work collaboratively with the Operations team to exceed goals and expectations, and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Physical ability to lift and move large items up to 88lbs (40kg) with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to work a flexible shift, including evenings and weekends, as required.
  • Ability to think quickly and tackle problems in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Experience with RF (Radio Frequency) Scanners and material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet trucks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
