Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Powell River, BC.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality psychological services to clients. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for conducting psychological assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify client needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based psychological interventions, including cognitive-behavioural therapy, to clients with a range of mental health concerns.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and coordination.
- Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive client records, including progress notes and treatment plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.

Qualifications- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from a recognized university.
- Two years of recent experience in clinical psychology, including therapeutic, diagnostic, and consultation services.
- Current registration with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia or registration within two years of employment.
- Valid Class V driver's license and possession of a personal vehicle with business insurance coverage when required.
