Accounting Team Member Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Team Member to join our team at CB Canada. This is a full-time/permanent role on site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Accounting team in the direction, supervision, and development of accounting activities
  • Manage a broad spectrum of accounting tasks, including monthly and year-end closing processes to support the issuance of timely and complete financial statements
  • Assist with external auditors as needed and completion of tax filings
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives of the Accounting team and assist with financial analyses and other ad-hoc projects as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance is required
  • Thorough understanding of financial reporting and year-end filing
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel
  • Experience managing a small team
  • Experience with Yardi or another integrated ERP solution is an asset
