Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Store Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager in overseeing the daily retail store operations, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, and achieving sales goals. In the absence of the Store Manager, this role acts as the Manager on Duty (MOD), responsible for managing staff, executing daily operational tasks, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage staff and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Execute daily operational tasks and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) in the absence of the Store Manager
- Recruit and train new employees
- Ensure inventory counts are done promptly and accurately
- Implement and maintain visual merchandizing standards based on company strategy
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in the retail industry
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a team management position
- Open availability required (day, evening, weekend)
- Ability to efficiently organize time and manage priorities
- Good leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
