About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team at 2777017 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Transactions: Accurately process customer payments, handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card transactions.
  • Scan Items: Efficiently scan products to ensure accurate pricing and inventory management.
  • Tabulate Payments: Calculate and tabulate total payments for goods or services provided.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist with Self-Checkout: Assist customers with self-checkout processes and provide support as needed.
  • Monitor Store Operations: Maintain a safe and secure store environment by monitoring entrances and exits, and requesting proof of payment when necessary.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Physical Demands: Stand for long periods, lift heavy loads, and move quickly to respond to customer needs.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure accurate transactions and inventory management.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Previous retail experience is an asset.
