Your Opportunity:

The Physiotherapist I - Inpatients plays a crucial role within the ACH site-wide PT Services, ensuring that clinical practices in the designated service area are centered around family and client needs while adhering to established physiotherapy standards. This role primarily focuses on delivering support to inpatient units, with potential involvement in other program areas and age groups as necessary.

Role Responsibilities:

As a Physiotherapist I (PT), your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering therapeutic interventions aimed at helping clients achieve optimal physical function and independence across various conditions.
  • Conducting comprehensive assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing ongoing management and education to clients and their families.
  • Collaborating with clients and families as essential members of the healthcare team, promoting their active involvement in all care aspects.
  • Engaging in interprofessional collaboration to enhance service delivery and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Providing mentorship and supervision to students and junior staff, contributing to their professional development.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution and hold current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.

Additional Qualifications:

Authorization from AADL may be required for specific services.
