Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Project Manager - Construction to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects of varying size and scope, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight: Provide day-to-day management of construction projects, from preconstruction to closeout, ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, and quality control standards.
  • Budgeting and Cost Management: Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
  • Field Operations: Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Safety and Quality Control: Implement and maintain safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel, and conduct regular quality control checks to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Scheduling and Planning: Develop and manage project schedules, including resource allocation, and ensure timely completion of projects.
Requirements
  • Education: Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related engineering or construction management program.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of construction experience, with a proven track record of managing projects exceeding $5,000,000.
  • Certifications: PMP or similar designation is a definite asset.
  • Skills: Strong financial acumen, excellent communication and project management skills, and proficiency in project scheduling software (Microsoft Projects is an asset).
