Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Baie Vista Inn Limited. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including preparing and portioning food, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and estimating ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Hire and train food service staff, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and service.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing and submitting reports as required.
  • Prepare and submit reports, including food order summaries for the chef and other relevant information.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, guests, and other departments.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Working Conditions:
