Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for dental examinations by explaining procedures, answering questions, and providing emotional support.
- Prepare dental instruments and filling materials according to established protocols to ensure optimal patient care.
- Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a safe working environment.
- Schedule and confirm appointments with patients and dental staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Take and develop X-rays to assist in diagnosing dental conditions and developing treatment plans.
- Record dental procedures performed on patients to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Take preliminary impressions for diagnostic casts to aid in treatment planning and patient education.
- Registration with provincial or territorial authorities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a dental setting, with a focus on patient care and support.
- Permanent employment with a competitive salary and benefits package.
- 30 hours per week of work, with a flexible schedule to accommodate patient needs.
- Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
