We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at The Western Corp. As a Construction Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, ensuring the safe and efficient completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Perform pre-operational inspections and clean and lubricate cranes
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Operate cranes equipped with dredging attachments to dredge waterways and other areas
  • Operate gantry cranes to load and unload ship cargo at port side
  • Operate locomotive cranes to move objects and materials at railway yards
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Assist in demolishing buildings
  • Perform routine maintenance work
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Physically demanding work, including lifting up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
