About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at NSL Construction. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, ensuring the smooth execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Preparation: Assist in the preparation of construction sites, including loading, unloading, and transporting materials.
  • Formwork and Scaffolding: Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Material Handling: Clean and pile salvaged materials, and remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Drilling and Blasting: Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Work Environment

As a Construction Laborer, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, handling heavy loads and working in various locations. You will be required to work outdoors and in physically demanding conditions.

Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
  • Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing work schedules and priorities.
