About the Role

VSG Landscaping and Renovation is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and ensuring that welds meet standards and/or specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret Welding Specifications: Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes to ensure accurate and efficient welding.
  • Operate Welding Equipment: Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment to fabricate metal components.
  • Examine Welds: Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and/or specifications, and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Maintain Equipment: Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, physically demanding conditions, and attention to detail required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in welding or a related field.
  • Work Site Environment: Willing to work outdoors in dusty and noisy conditions.
  • Work Setting: Willing to relocate and work in an industrial setting.
