Electrical Maintenance Specialist

Position Overview:
The role of Electrical Technician at Trivium Packaging focuses on the upkeep and repair of electrical systems within the manufacturing facility. This includes utilizing a variety of tools and diagnostic instruments to ensure all electrical components operate efficiently. Key responsibilities encompass overseeing the functionality of electrical units, executing conduit and wiring tasks, managing maintenance requests, interpreting engineering schematics, and resolving electrical issues. Additionally, this position involves collaborating on work processes and contributing to overall plant maintenance efforts.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Associate degree or equivalent Technical School Degree / Certification or relevant industrial experience.
- Strong understanding of 480V three-phase systems, as well as 220V and 110V systems.
- Competent computer skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate ideas and collaborate with colleagues, clients, and suppliers.
- Familiarity with National Electrical Code (N.E.C.) standards.
- Experience in PLC maintenance and industrial environments is preferred.
Compensation:
The starting hourly wage for this position is $26.69.
Physical Requirements:
This role necessitates standing, walking, and manual dexterity. Candidates should be capable of lifting up to fifty pounds and possess good hand-eye coordination.
Work Setting:
The position is situated in a manufacturing environment characterized by machinery noise and varying temperatures. Adherence to safety protocols and the use of protective equipment is mandatory.
