About the Role:

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing plant activities, supervising overall production, and delegating work assignments to ensure all key performance indicators (KPIs) are identified, structured, and addressed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety: Enforce safety practices, maintain a zero-tolerance attitude, and ensure safety engagement.
  • Quality: Understand and adhere to standards and requirements, work with precision and attention to detail.
  • Delivery: Implement a just-in-time production strategy.
  • Inventory: Manage inventory levels and be aware of inventory status.
  • Productivity: Measure the efficiency of employees, equipment, and overall cost efficiency.
  • Employee Engagement: Foster a transparent and inclusive work environment, listen to employee concerns, and address them promptly.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a team-based Lean Manufacturing environment.
  • College degree in a related field or a combination of high school degree and several years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and Outlook, with experience in Kronos as a time management tool an asset.
  • Hands-on experience implementing Lean Manufacturing process systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Reliable, high integrity, and strong work ethic.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
