Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Facility Maintenance Specialist to ensure a clean and safe environment for our educational institution. This role is essential in maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of our facilities.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: No prior experience necessary; we provide training.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and waxing of hallways, floors, and stairs.
  • Utilize industrial vacuum cleaners to effectively remove dirt, debris, and refuse.
  • Regularly empty trash receptacles and waste containers.
  • Clean windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain a pristine environment.
  • Coordinate with contractors for necessary repairs and maintenance.
  • Care for plants, lawns, and gardens as needed.
  • Disinfect and maintain cleanliness in bathrooms and fixtures.
  • Clear snow and ice from walkways and parking areas to ensure safety.
Work Conditions
