Key Responsibilities
  • Project Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of projects, identify potential challenges, and develop effective plans to ensure successful execution.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a small crew of landscape construction professionals, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards.
  • Customer Communication: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met, and expectations are exceeded.
  • Record-Keeping and Metrics: Accurately record and track job metrics, providing valuable insights to inform future project planning and decision-making.
  • Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Safely operate and maintain a range of equipment, including large trucks and trailers, to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant company and local regulations, maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
Requirements
  • Clean and Valid G-Class License: Mandatory requirement for this role.
  • Education and Certification: Completed college or vocational training in horticulture, landscape construction, or a related field, with certifications such as CLT or CHT.
  • Experience and Skills: 3-5 years of experience in landscape construction, with a proven track record of leading teams and delivering results.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 pounds, work in varying weather conditions, and maintain a high level of physical fitness.
  • Language Skills: Proficient in English, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
