We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team at Crest Hotel LP. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's maintenance and upkeep.
Key Responsibilities- Safety and Security: Perform regular safety and security checks to ensure the well-being of our guests and staff.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs, as well as operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and waste.
- Repairs and Maintenance: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
- Groundskeeping: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens, and clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
- Administrative Tasks: Advertise vacancies and work with minimal supervision.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience, or equivalent experience
- 35 hours per week
- Permanent work term
