As a part of our team, you will:

  • Oversee overall project planning throughout the entire project lifecycle for various project delivery methods.
  • Facilitate interactive planning sessions to establish a Performance Measurement Baseline.
  • Develop multiple levels of project schedules and assist the business development group during proposal phases.
  • Manage client expectations and mentor team members in effective negotiation techniques.
  • Identify and document schedule scenarios that may impact project scope.
  • Enhance the management of change procedures and provide technical support to Project Managers.
  • Create staffing plans to ensure the availability of necessary resources for both approved and proposed work.
  • Assess the impact of project trends on cost and schedule, ensuring comprehensive inclusion of all cost categories.
  • Maintain a risk register and ensure all project-related risks are documented and updated.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 10 years of project planning experience, with at least 5 to 7 years specifically as a Project Planner/Scheduler in sectors such as Mining, Oil & Gas, Heavy Industrial, or Power.
  • Expertise in Earned Value Management principles.
  • The ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Valuable experience in planning and understanding the implications of change management.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English is considered a strong asset.
