Electrical Superintendent Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to join our team at Kiewit Energy Canada. As an Electrical Superintendent, you will play a key role in the success of our projects, overseeing the organization, work methods, scheduling, cost control, and workmanship of electrical construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the work of Foremen, journeymen, and laborers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement plans for project completion and turnover, ensuring all performance evaluations are completed in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with clients, architect/engineer, suppliers, subcontractors, and jobsite staff to maintain positive working relationships and resolve issues.
  • Review and approve labor rates, manage contract administration, and develop programs to maintain good client relations.
  • Initiate and attend meetings with clients to resolve problems and plan project execution.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of electrical construction experience, with 1+ years in a Superintendent/Leadership capacity.
  • Strong experience in leadership, safety, negotiations, planning, and contract administration.
  • Excellent organizational, administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills.
