Job Title: Intermediate Network Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Network Administrator to join our team at DLS Technology Corporation. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of our business-critical computer network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation and configuration of computer networks
  • Monitoring and management of network operations
  • Security and defense of the network

Requirements:

  • Level 2 Secret clearance
  • College or university undergraduate degree in software engineering, systems engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, information systems, or computer science
  • Minimum 1-5 years of experience

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent certification
  • VMware vRealize Suite and NSX
  • Configuration and maintenance of computer networks
  • Deployment, configuration, patching, and upgrade of switching and routing technologies
  • Management of network security tools, including firewalls, access control lists, anti-virus tools, and intrusion detection systems
  • Troubleshooting and resolution of network connectivity and performance issues
  • Monitoring and optimization of network speed and availability
  • Installation, configuration, and maintenance of processing, storage, networking, end-user, and peripheral equipment, including virtualization technologies
  • Deployment, configuration, patching, and upgrade of network software, such as enterprise anti-virus or diagnostic programs
  • Deployment, configuration, patching, and upgrade of server-side core software, including but not limited to Windows Server, SQL Server, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and Microsoft SharePoint
  • Implementation and maintenance of backup and restoration systems for mission-critical network servers
  • Regulation of user access to devices, services, and files
  • Provision of end-user desktop support
