About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Universal Event Space. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring that our events are served with exceptional quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our diverse client base
    • Source high-quality ingredients and suppliers
    • Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff to prepare and serve meals
  • Kitchen Management
    • Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including inventory management and ordering supplies
    • Ensure that all kitchen staff are trained and equipped to perform their duties
    • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Customer Service
    • Work closely with event planners and clients to understand their needs and preferences
    • Ensure that all meals are prepared and served to a high standard
    • Handle customer complaints and feedback in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a head cook or executive chef
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food safety and handling
    • Strong leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
    • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
