We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at DREAM DECOR RENOVATIONS INC. as a key member of our interior and exterior painting team.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
- Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings to create a seamless look.
- Mix paint to the desired colour and texture, taking into account the specific requirements of each project.
- Measure, cut and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, ensuring a precise and professional finish.
- Advise clients on colours and choice of wall coverings, providing expert guidance and recommendations.
- Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging as necessary, ensuring a safe and secure working environment.
- Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces, meeting the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
- Estimate costs and materials, providing accurate and detailed quotes to clients.
- Attention to detail is essential, as is hand-eye co-ordination and the ability to distinguish between colours.
- Client focus is crucial, as is flexibility, reliability, and the ability to work as part of a team.
- We are looking for a permanent team member who can commit to 37.5 hours per week, working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Fluency in English is required, as is the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
