Job Title: Customer Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Customer Service Supervisor to join our team at FAST DRYWALL LTD. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our drywall installation team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Supervision: Supervise a team of 5-10 drywall installers, finishers, apprentices, trades helpers, and labourers.
  • Project Coordination: Co-ordinate and schedule activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Training and Development: Oversee apprenticeship training and provide guidance to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Recruitment and Staffing: Recruit and hire new team members and carry out related staffing actions.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure health and safety regulations are followed on all job sites.
  • Materials and Equipment: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Outdoors, noisy.
  • Work Setting: Construction, inspection, installation, commercial, industrial, institutional, maintenance, residential, repair.

  • Excellent Oral Communication: Excellent oral communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and clients.
  • Organized: Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Reliability: Reliable and able to work under pressure.
  • Team Player: A team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Work Under Pressure: Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Overtime Required: Overtime required to meet project deadlines.
  • Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles.
Work Schedule:
  • Hours of Work: 35 hours per week.
  • Duration of Employment: Permanent.
