Job Title: Delivery Truck Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Truck Driver to join our team at Express Parcel. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, as well as operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to transport goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand
  • Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Provide excellent customer service and professionalism in all interactions
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Keep accurate records of items received and delivered
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods safely and securely
  • Load and unload goods efficiently
  • Sort packages for delivery
  • Follow directions and use maps and other trip planning aids to navigate routes
  • Record trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support
Requirements:
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
  • DZ class license
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and handle heavy loads
