We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at the Westlock Healthcare Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our community.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide nursing services to patients, families, and communities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Utilize nursing processes, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making to deliver effective patient care.
- Teach, counsel, and advocate on behalf of patients and their families, promoting health and wellness.
- Support an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide safe, quality patient-centered care.
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.
- Ability to work shift rotation schedules and meet the physical demands of the job.
- Competence in relevant technical nursing skills and a willingness to learn new skills as required.
- Rural and med/surg experience.
- ACLS, maternity, and emergency experience.
Please note that Provisional Permit Holders will be paid $35.87/hour - $43.82/hour. Upon being entered into the register of Registered Nurses, the rate of pay will be adjusted accordingly.
