Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Geotechnical Engineer - Entry Level to join our team in the Greater Toronto Area. As a Geotechnical Engineer - Entry Level, you will work with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technologists/technicians performing general geotechnical responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior staff with the completion of geotechnical investigations, including both field and office-based work
  • Develop technical skills by assisting senior staff with various geotechnical analyses
  • Assist senior staff with the preparation of technical proposals and reports
  • Liaise with clients and contractors
  • Develop business development skills to continue to foster existing client relationships and build new ones

Requirements

  • A degree in a related discipline, preferably in civil, geological or geotechnical engineering
  • P.Eng. or working towards will be considered an asset
  • Working knowledge of various geotechnical instrumentation, survey methods and materials testing will be considered an asset
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
