Job Summary:

The Project Manager - Construction and Telecom will be responsible for managing the construction and installation of data centers and telecommunications systems for Microsoft. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the construction and installation of data centers and telecommunications systems
  • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including vendors, contractors, and internal teams
  • Develop and manage project budgets and timelines
  • Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with projects
  • Develop and implement project management plans and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders
  • Manage and resolve project-related issues and conflicts

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in construction project management
  • Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Experience with construction management software and tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Experience with data center construction and telecommunications systems
  • Knowledge of construction laws and regulations
  • Experience with budgeting and cost control
