The Prevention and Screening Coordinator provides support to the manager of Prevention and Screening Clinical Services. This role is responsible for the day-to-day operation and supervision of a diverse portfolio that includes the mobile cancer screening coach, clinical genetics program, diagnostic assessment program, and related staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support processes and deliverables for high-quality service delivery for cancer screening, assessment, and clinical pathways based on Ontario Health partners' requirements, standards, and guidelines.
  • Liaise with internal and regional partners, vendors, and provincial and national agencies.
  • Provide education and training to staff on clinical systems and processes.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree in health or business administration or related area.
  • 3-5 years of healthcare-related experience.
  • Valid G driver's license.
  • Prior outpatient clinic management experience or strong knowledge base in clinical systems an asset.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to navigate a variety of electronic health information and client management systems.
  • Proven leadership qualities.
  • Committed to patient and family-centered care while working professionally with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to negotiate in sometimes challenging circumstances.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Time management skills with the ability to manage workload and adapt quickly to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
