Maintenance Technician II Job Description

At CB Canada, we are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility's electro-mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks to ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and diagnose issues to resolve them efficiently.
  • Conduct basic troubleshooting techniques to identify and repair mechanical and electrical system problems.
  • Utilize the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track and report maintenance activities.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and promote a safe work environment through training and awareness.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in electrical, electronic, mechanical, or maintenance engineering technology preferred.
  • Four (4) years of light industrial maintenance experience, including basic power transmission, fabrication, and electrical or machine controls.
  • Basic related troubleshooting skills and mechanical or electrical installation experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Red Seal electrical license.
  • Software skills, including Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
