Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Food Sales Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring that our customers have an excellent shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and other areas as assigned.
  • Restock shelves and merchandise as needed, ensuring that products are displayed in an attractive and appealing manner.
  • Operate a cash register, handling customer transactions and maintaining accurate cash handling procedures.
  • Assist with receiving and stocking merchandise, including unloading trucks and stocking shelves.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and loss prevention.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience an asset.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
