About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at DPS Drywall Ltd. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality drywall installations for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabrication and Installation: Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
  • Drywall Installation: Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets, positioning and securing them to metal or wooden studs or joists.
  • Finishing Touches: Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry, taping over joints using a taping machine and embedding tape in compound.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Setting: Various locations, including construction sites and client premises.
  • Physical Demands: The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in drywall installation or a related field.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
