About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Underwriter to join our team at Northbridge Financial Corporation. As a Senior Underwriter, you will play a critical role in providing complete solutions for our commercial mid-market businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with a wide range of broker partners to get a holistic picture of each risk and make underwriting decisions that make sense for all parties.
  • Utilize strong technical skills to ensure that risks are assessed properly.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and development for less experienced underwriters.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with broker partners and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Underwriting experience in property, casualty, automobile.
  • Completed, or pursuing your CIP designation.
  • Team-first mentality.
